Group
Health Insurance:
Our health insurance plan is currently Blue Care Network,
an HMO.
You are eligible to participate the first of the month after
6 months of employment.
Prescription
Drug Program:
Currently drugs are covered with a $5 co-pay.
Dental
Insurance:
Dental care is something we need throughout our lives. Most
people rank dental coverage as second in importance only to
medical coverage. Our dental program reimburses employees
for dental work at the rate of about 100% for preventative
care and most other service are covered 80% or 50%.

Insurance:
The Koegel vision plan covers basic service per the vision
benefit schedule.

Assistance Program (EAP):
At Koegel, we believe the most valuable resources are our
employees. Therefore, we are committed to working together
to ensure that your well-being is a major priority. Some examples
of the types of problems the Assistance Program can lend guidance
and counseling are alcohol/drug dependency and marital/family
issues.

Life Insurance:
Koegel helps Member's prepare for life's risks and dangers
by providing a life insurance policy to all full-time employees.
Koegel provides this at no cost to you.
Sickness
and Accident Compensation:
Paid at the rate of 16-1/2 times the hourly wage.
Attendance
Bonds:
Employees may receive a $100 US savings bond based on the
accumulation of 10 weeks perfect attendance.
Retirement:
Koegel's retirement plan is a defined contribution type plan
where the company will contribute a predetermined amount of
money to the plan on the employees behalf. The employee becomes
fully vested in the plan after 7 years of participation. You
are eligible to participate the first of the month after 1
year of employment.
Vacation:
Attractive vacation schedule that will allow you to take advantage
of the beautiful Michigan seasons.
Holidays:
Ten paid holidays which include: New Year's Day, President's
Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving
Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas
Day.
Jury
Duty:
Koegel considers it a civic duty to serve on a jury if summoned.
Employees who serve on jury duty will receive compensation
for the time spent on jury duty.
Bereavement
Pay:
Employees are entitled to funeral leave pay for up to 3 days
for time lost from work when there is a death in the family.
Family is defined in the policy.
